Nighttime pacer

Hi all
I've had a problem with my nose for about a year now. I've been given antibiotics and creams. It goes away fro about a week then returns. My gp has just swabbed it and I've been told it's a staph infection and another GP at the surgery (my doctor's on holiday) has prescribed some antibiotics which I'll pick up tomorrow. Seems pointless though as they're the same antibiotics that the same doctor prescribed only 3 months ago. I'm due to see an ENT specialist again. He said I probably need a longer course of treatment. I've tried naseptin cream 3 times and it goes away for about 2 weeks then comes back. My worry is that it won't go and will get in my blood and I'll end up in hospital fighting for my life.
I'm really scared.
Has anyone been through this?
