Short of breath?

My mum is on 600mg of Lyrica a day and has been very breathless and tight chested since she's been on it. It's not her asthma as her inhalers aren't helping and her dr said lungs sound clear. It's not a panic attack either. It's very tight chest and finds it hard to breathe, like her asthma but without it actually being if that makes sense?

I've never taken that but when I had inflamed cartilage in my chest that's exactly what happened. Not saying it's that but it was a very painful and annoying but harmless condition. I had to go to a hospital and have a full check up before I was diagnosed with it. Hope she feels better soon x

She's not taking propranolol too is she by any chance? That confused my doctor since we initially thought it was the pregabalin giving me a tight wheezy chest.

No she's not. She's on 600mg a day of Lyrica, Duloxetine (Cymbalta) 60mg, amitriptyline 10mg.

I did not have shortness of breath... maybe a little discussion with her GP
