What do your neck lymph nodes feel like?

I've been worried about leukaemia since March as I have had continuous low white blood cell counts since then. I get unexplained bruising all the time. My last blood test was in July where I had a blood smear too. I had low white blood cells again, but otherwise fine. I've now discovered hard pea shaped lymph nodes on one side of my neck. I know this is another symptom and I'm scared. I had a cold last week but I don't think it's that. What do yours feel like? If you can feel them at all?

I can feel few in my neck... on left side i have quite a long thin 1 like a sausage its gotten bigger the last week or 2 which im assuming is from a gum infection i had. They still up tho not sure how long it takes for them to go down.
I think they know from bloods if u have leukemia.
I have pea sized move able node by left collarbone too
I had ct scan 3 wks back and was told all normal

I don't understand all these lymph node and gland threads. HOW do you know what or where to feel a node or gland?

I wouldn't know where one was or what it felt like if it slapped me in the face.
