what effect does anxiety have on your blood pressure??

this is an issue that comes and goes for at times ill be obsessed with my blood pressure the most common number is 126/60 which is fine and i am happy with that at times ive had it between 110 and 120 on the top. but then times like tonight when its 134/60 makes me worried then i keep checking it every few mins i am not sure if that will effect the reading also but looking for peoples experiences with this

I don't even know what healthy blood pressure is in figures...or what mine is - which means I don't worry about it.
I'm guessing blood pressure rises temporarily with stress, but if you don't check to see it changing, you can't worry about it - which can only be a help!
