Does anyone know how to reduce the redness of eczema? I use an emollient but think that's just getting rid of the dryness and not the redness.

Ask a pharmacist.

For my eczema I use a prescribed ointment called Betnovate and I think it works brilliantly.

My daughter has eczema and I have contact dermatitis on my hands. Once we have a flare up the only thing that works for us both is a steroid cream. I prefer Hydrocortisone, my daughter also has Eumovate although it is tough to apply due to it's consistency.

Doublebase cream. It's simply amazing for eczema. :)

Betnovate is a steroid cream, not to be used long term.

Aveeno cream is great for eczema, as is Epiderm (wear at night with cotton gloves), Diprobase, Aqueous cream - basically all emolients that you can also use to wash with.
