Thought I would say hello, I was diagnosed with anxiety in August and had a bit of a rough time going to places full of people and getting out of the house, I started taking citalopram nearly 3 weeks ago and feel so much more confident going out now, there's been some side effects- headaches, sweats and dry mouth and binge eating. I felt so bad at one point I couldn't take my daughter to the doctors I got all ready but when it came to stepping out I couldn't and had to send her on her own I felt so guilty and helpless. My family have been a great support, and I have been going through some of the threads on here which have been very helpful.
