Hi,
I have had a rock hard bump about the size of a BB or even skittle candy piece behind my ear now for a few years. I would say 3-5 years now. But I am worried its getting bigger. I noticed today when I felt it it seemed maybe a little bigger.
This does not hurt and I do not think its moble. Its almost exactly where the back of the ear lobe skin meets the skull bone. Like in that little "wedge area" behind the ear.
I remember worrying about it a few years ago and showing my mom. But we just kinda brushed it off. Its also on my cell phone ear, maybe a tumor?
Its for sure hard and feels like a bony growth, is shaped round and no pain. I showed an ear doctor when I was getting my ear cleaned out for wax buildup and she just shrugged it off saying its probably nothing.
The thing is though the ear its on is bigger than my other ear. Maybe just a concidence im not sure. But its on my left ear and my left ear is for sure bigger than right. I noticed my ear being bigger about a year ago. I mean it could have been bigger my whole life and I just noticed?
I am just worried now thinking ive ignored this for so many years. Plus my ear is bigger and that doesnt seem normal. Its not much bigger, just a little bigger. What do you guys think?
