Feeling pretty anxious at the moment. While lately most my HA has been directed at my mysterious vertigo issue, lately I've noticed a strange diagonal line in my vision, especially in my left eye. It's like my eye is drawn to this one diagonal line even when I'm reading left to right like normal. I had an eye doctor appointment today and while everything about my eyes appeared healthy on the pictures they took and my prescription had only changed slightly, the doctor was concerned enough to check my macula and lo and behold, I apparently have thin macula. The left eye is worse than the right, which may or may not explain the line.

I'm only 32 but this immediately had me thinking of macular degeneration. It doesn't help that Dr. Google throws that in my face the moment I try to look anything to do with macula up. I have an appointment with a retinal specialist on the 17th but ugggggh I know I'm going to be fixating until then. It doesn't help that the diagonal line is most apparent when I'm reading and being a student and kind of a computer addict, I can't really avoid reading! I'm really worried that this won't go away or may get worse, and I'm not sure how to deal with that.

So frustrated. I used to be a relatively healthy person, then the past two years, everything has just fallen apart. Arrrrrgh.
