Smell signalling illness

Hi. I had a small rectal issue sorted in April and ever since I am convinced I can smell a leather sort of smell on me quite often.

I know this may sound weird but I have other aches for instance under my right rib near the front which makes me worry about cancers. I once read that people can smell musty or odd when cancer is present.

Any advice pls? :(((
