Once upon a time I used to be very committed at work, after recieving nothing for my committment but critizism, I have learned not to be over-committed. But after many years, I am feeling like I can change and become more committed at work. But there is a fear preventing me. I am afraid, If I work more, I might become more stressed out and more anxious etc...

There is no reason why you should get stressed at work if you just do what you have to and plan each day carefully.

Don't let work take over your life and know when to say "no" to people.

People will forget what you said
People will forget what you did
But people will never forget how you made them feel

hi heavymind'

I know what you mean. I have retutrned to work after a long absence. I am trying really hard to achieve a work/life balance. I think the answer is careful planning, and organisation. I become stressed when forget things, a sign of getting older, so i make lists of things to do and prioritize. Anyway thats what i plan to do next term!!! Here's hoping we both have a good week next week, and remember the key is WORK/LIFE, balance.
