I'm so so scared I'm in bits!!! Went bk to doctors after 7th time about these lumps in thighs and was told limpomas not to worry i said in in pain with them and want them removed she said no as its cosmectic she said my lumps are not attached they are moveable and don't feel dangerous she said she will speak to a skin doctor at the surgery and call as she knows ive googled sarcoma, she said don't worry, she said i wouldn't lie as its her job on the line, she also said its rare, so 6 hrs later i get a phone call, she said in referring you to sarcoma clinic to see a surgeon to see my lumps and that the doctor she spoke to said to be sure, i froze with ny baby in my arms and kids playing around me tears strolling down my face trying to hold it together. I ask see you worried and concerned doctor have i got anything to worry she replies just to rule it out and cover ourselves, she also said limpomas shouldn't hurt, i cant stop cryin 5 months ive been back and forward with this

I know you are scared. Looking at it objectively, you said you went 7 times and you keep telling your doctor that you are concerned. If you keep insisting that something is wrong the doctor really has no choice but to send you for further tests simply to put your mind at ease. So when your doc called the other doc the other doc probably let's put her mind (your mind) at ease and just get them tested so she stops worrying.

I speak from experience I kept going to the doc for headaches and finally she gave me a test looking for cancer I went pale and I started dreaming out and she said it wasn't because she was concerned it was to put my mind at ease.

I agree with RoseE...

You've been asking for further testing and now you have it. Now you'll know once and for all you're Ok.

My husband has lipomas all over his body. Certain ones of them do hurt him.

I also knew someone who has sarcoma. The thing she had sounds nothing like you have described.

You will get the reassurance x

By the way a specialist will never say no!
They have no idea unless they see you.
I've had mine for 7 and 4 years now - I'd love them out so if they do remove yours please let me know!

A day in the life of a hypo:

"Doctor doctor, please give me a referral!"

"No, there's nothing wrong with you."

"Is it *insert disease here*?"

"No, because clinically it doesn't look like this."

"Can I see a specialist just to sure?"

"Oh OK then, if it puts your mind at rest."

"OH NO THE DOCTOR'S GIVEN ME A REFERRAL! I MUST BE DYING!!!"
