FOBT on period

Has anyone done this before? What are the chances of stool having blood if you are menstruating when collecting samples?

I've not had this exact thing but I've had a urine sample whilst on before and some blood did get in but they seemed to know what it was and discounted it as menstruation.

I doubt a stool sample would be affected too much though!!

You are not meant to use a FOBT until 3 days or longer since your period started because it can affect the resultsx

Whoops I did it anyway. I alredy had two days in the fridge and wasn't gonna wait. I've had rectal bleeding anyway (hence doing FOBT) so blood from period won't make much difference
