Test for sleep apnea

Hi
Can anyone tell me if they have had the monitor on their finger while they
sleep,I have to have this next week and would like to hear from anyone who
was diagnosed with sleep apnea after having this test

I'm sorry I can't be of more help, but my mother had his done. She had to go to a sleep center and spend the night, which she said made it a bit hard to sleep (being in an unfamiliar place). She doesn't really suffer from anxiety, though, so it wasn't terrible on her.

She was diagnosed with sleep apnea and now wears a little oxygen thing on her nose whens he sleeps. I think it took some getting used to but I do think it helped her to be able to sleep in the long run.
