ecg test results

Hi,

I had a 24hr ECG monitor on about two weeks ago then I took it back but I have not heard anything about my results yet....the receptionist said there is a back log of up to 5 weeks but surely if there's something wrong I would have heard by now right?? :shrug:

Never had an ECG monitor test but on all the other tests I have had ( there have been loads ) if there has been a problem I have heard straight away i.e. within 48 hours. My last blood tests were a bit iffy and the GP herself rang me the next morning and asked me to go straight to the surgery and have them taken again. In my experience no news is good news. x
