so.....i (stupidly) googled "sinus pain behind eye" this morning (i've had tenderness around the cheekbone on the right-hand side of my face and behind that eye) and now i'm terrified that i've got an infection which will spread to my brain...i have an appointment with my gp this afternoon (in just two hours), but i'm sitting at my desk at work totally terrified that the infection (if that's what it is) has already spread and that i'm going to end up in the hospitald (or worse!!!)....rationally, i know the likelihood is very, very small (i don't even have a fever or any of the serious warning signs), but there's really nothing rational about health anxiety, is there? not sure why i'm posting, except maybe to get some reassurance that other people have felt sinus pain behind their eye and have lived to tell the tale....ugh, i need to get a grip!!!! :scared15:
