birth control worry and muscles hurting please answer

I just started taking birth control and i already fear it will cause blood clots or some other problem are they safe i need someone to tell me they won't cause problems, also i have pain in the muscles of my arms sometimes out of nowhere and also arm jerks anyone have this? i need replies i'm really scared

First of all, all medications come with potential risks. These risks MUST be noted on the information sheet - but it doesn't mean they are common or will happen to you.

I've been on birth control (combined pill) for about 12 years now. I get achy muscles from time to time but I think that's more down to me being anxious and bad posture etc.

What are the arm jerks like?

Thank you, my arm will just move,if i'm sitting and holding something my arm will just go up i get it my hands too makes sense if it's anxiety. I just seen some girls post about getting missed periods and stuff with their birth control and blood clots scare me the most

I have weird little body jerks like that from time to time. It's like my body needs to get rid of excess energy or something.

We probably wouldn't even care about stuff like that if we didn't have anxiety, before this fear started i might of had a little jerking but never thought about it.
