Hello everyone,

I suffer from anxiety from time to time but it seems to be getting worse. Instead of waking up thinking about the next day I am stuck on the reoccurring thought of anxiety. Usually I just ignore it and it goes away but it seems hard I shake. It's starting to ruin my daily activities. I hVe so much fun when I go somewhere new or do something new. But once I get complacent it makes me feel so bored and down. This is my first year not bring an athlete so I'm not exactly sure how to get my stress out. Anything will help. Thanks!

What do you mean it's your first year not being an athlete ?

You sound like you're someone who is better doing instead of thinking about doing.

Waking up is when you remember what's going on. You remember who you are and the previous day. So do something positive each day to remember when you wake up to lift your spirits.

"I took steps towards this goal.
I took these steps towards relieving this anxiety.
I had a good time.
I kept busy and had a good day despite waking with some anxieties."
Etc

Give yourself reasons to ease your anxieties on waking.

What are your real life anxieties ?
Find solutions to them all. Write them down if you have to.
You'll feel better when you see yourself solving these anxieties you have.

And when you wake in the morning and remember these solutions and steps to relieving them you've taken, you'll feel good.
