bloody TP and the GP visit

Damn the HA, I'm sure it's getting worse! Few weeks back I had some blood on the loo paper after a BM and after that it was ok. Then yesterday and today I had it again and felt sore and stung round me rim.

OMG the GP done a rectal exam.... what a shock lol! he said there were no lumps and seems to think it's a tear and it was red raw and piles.

Dunno why but I came out more worried than when I went in! I think probably because he said "it's not worrying at this stage" I guess I was hoping for a different phrase.

Had to get that off me chest as gross as it is

Why would you be "more" worried? Piles/fissures are very common and not sinister at all. "At this stage" means take care of yourself and they'll heal.

There's another thread about this on the boards currently. The same thing happened as the doctor diagnosed it as nothing sinister (fissures/piles) and I'd but the poster cannot accept that and is trapped in the downward spiral that HA sometimes causes. Don't let the dragon do that to you!

Just get yourself some Preparation H and let them heal. You'll be fine ;)
