Scared about colonoscopy and endoscopy

Frightened.

Got to have an endoscopy and colonoscopy on Weds. So scared. Abdo pain for last three months and diahorrea but am also really anaemic so they are checking me out.... So scared I'm bleeding inside. Scared this is the end.

Petrified about the cannula and the sedation. Never had that before.

I'm 36 and feel like it's the end.

You don't have to have the sedation if you don't want it. I never have it.

You won't be bleeding inside all this time either.

I was scared about the cannula and sedation, but honestly they were the best bit!
Sedation is like being slightly drunk - relaxed and sort of a bit dreamy, and you can't remember much after it's all over. :yesyes:
