Worried about ulcer/cut on tounge

Not sure if it is a tiny ulcer or litle cut, had a few drinks saturday night and woke up sunday morning and tip of tounge was sore, looked in mirror and could see a little white spot, mum said it was an ulcer or a cut she couldnt tell 100% as it is very small, the soreness has now gone but it is still there, i showed my mum again and she said the redness is going down but i am not so sure, anyone else get these? Start of mouth/oral cancer?

I get those sometimes. The cause could be anything -- all harmless! It's possible you burned your tongue without realizing it, or bit it at some time, or the alcohol aggravated a bite/cut, etc. etc. It'll go away and be fine, promise :)
