Beckie, what do you want people to say? You've been checked and all is clear. Your anxiety is the most likely culprit in your bladder wanting to empty. That and the added stress you're under is the most likely culprit in your bladder feeling irritated. The medical tests have ruled out anything otherwise.

I do hope you feel better and look into getting some help with your anxiety.

Positive thoughts and less pee breaks ;)

Hey Beckie

A few years ago, I had this symptom - needing to go for a wee all the time - I was sure it was something serious and was sent for all the tests. All negative. I decided then to tackle it with relaxation, exercise etc. It went away but does come back now and again when I'm very stressed.

I'm just asking people if they've been thro the same thing that's all it's not axiety as I've suffered years with that and never had this ! Also it's the urge to go as in my bladders full so anxiety def wudnt cause that .

I could go back and C&P everything from the beginning of the month like diagnosed with thrush, had a clear smear etc. but you're convinced otherwise so.....Your right. Hope you feel better soon.

Try and stop worrying so much about it and making a big issue of it and things may calm down.

There is nothing we can tell you on here that a doctor can't tell you.

Also keep a diary and write down exactly when you go to the loo so you can see if it really is every hour on the dot.

UTI symptoms can continue days after you have been treated. It is just a case of sitting it out, I'm afraid. Try not to get in a state about it. The other thing is that anxiety will also make you pee more often, so chilling out - or trying to - is the best thing you can do right now. x:winks:

At the beginning of this year I was having to urinate frequently, it was particularly annoying if not something for me and my friend to laugh about when she had to go wait in the Lego store for me to go to the loos three times in one afternoon, and I think I had a water infection too. It was before my HA bout so I never thought twice about it, and it seemed to ease up on its own and I've also put it down to how much water/coffee I drink/was drinking at the time, as well as my age.

You're very focused on it/not being anxiety which is probably why the symptoms are persisting to such a degree. I agree that it's rotten to have to keep needing to pee but you've seen the docs about it, so try to listen to them! Easier said than done, I know, but most of us are having to take their word for it, so we can help each other to. I'm sure the pills will work in time, and I'm no MD but the focus can definitely prolong what's going on. Try to shift it with the help of the free CBT booklet that's in the stickies at the top of the page. :)
