painful leg

hi all can anyone help me with another problem i have for about 30 yrs now i have this pain in the muscle at the front of my leg like a cramp feeling it comes and goes throughout the day waking me at night taking painkillers eases it it lasts for about 5 days and only happens twice or three times a year in the beginning it was only in one leg about 10 yrs ago i got it in either one but never at the same time and the last episode a few months ago it traveled down to the bottom of my leg sometimes the pain is so bad i cant help but anyone got any idea thanks

Have you consulted a doctor about this and what did they say?

I posted something along those lines. I noticed that I have very painful legs when I feel particuarly anxious and it was suggested that it was due to tensing my leg muscles through stress, I think that's probably what it is for me. Could that be the case for you too?

I have sciatica which gives me pain down the front and backs of my legs and am waiting for physio at the mo.
