I don't think it would be able to twitch in the physical sense - but your anxiety might make you perceive a twitching feeling in your scalp muscles.

Common sense dictates since it's not made of muscle tissue, it wouldn't have the ability to twitch.

that tickling twitching sensation i get that from time to time it lasts a few seconds and goes away , i find mmine gets like that when im more strrssed or if i have a cold or flu i dont think the brain is actually twitching but its that sensation ... hope that helps you feel better
