Anything by Claire Weekes - my personal life-saver is Self Help for Your Nerves. You can buy it on Amazon.

The site appears to be under construction . His story is free to read and seems to compliment claire Weekes material in my opinion .

Hope its back up soon for you .

Your very welcome , the more we understand about anxiety and the mechanisms behind it the more able we are to manage and get over it .

Good luck

I found Overcoming Low Self-Esteem, from the Books on Prescription scheme, very helpful. For me personally, it helped me to understand how my past experiences have led to anxiety and the mix of practical CBT exercises and explanations of the impacts of low self esteem helped me to learn to be kind to myself, have more realistic expectations and celebrate what I do achieve rather than berating myself for what I haven't. It was also an easy book to read when I was very depressed and struggled to concentrate.

At last a life by Paul David was my life saver . It's my bible.

Anything but Dr Clare Weekes and also "At last a life" by Paul David.

They haven't made my anxiety go away but made it much easier to understand and therefore I am able to deal with it better and life is improving.

I hope this helps x
