Help!! Terrified

Had a uti and was peeing blood:(, had a drip and antibiotics. Not felt well since and went back to docs who did blood test and booked me in for a cystoscopy. Docs have rung to say go back for blood test as potassium is too high ( Dr Google says very frightening things about this), now I think I am either going to drop dead or have kidney/bladder cancer, as I have the other symptoms like sweating, back ache, rash, etc.

It all just adds up to well :(. So frightened-please anyone had this type of thing,

Try not to panic, I know that it is also possible that certain medicines can increase levels of potassium with antibiotics being one of them.

Wait and see what the next test shows before you start panicking, I bet you're fine and it's because of your UTI and antibiotics.

Oh and stop googling, it will not make you feel any better x

Just a quick update for anyone that reads this post; had cystodcopy and kidney ultrasound; all clear, probably just had a bad infection according to consultant. :))
