Please help, my mind is going crazy

hi ive taken my lyrica but my thoughts are racing like craxy i feel like there is a hamster wheel, im running around the house talking to myself. ive never felt like this before its dam scary!

Lyrica works by slowing the release of excitatory neurotransmitters. If you start taking double or triple the maximum dose, you might feel super-relaxed for a while, but your body does adjust somewhat. If you suddenly stop taking it, or even move down to your prescribed dose, you suddenly get an oversupply of excitation.

If you can put up with it, your body will readjust again to the prescribed dose. I don't know how long it will take, but not forever. If you have access to a benzodiazepine like Valium, it should help to calm you during this time.

The good news is that your doctor will continue to prescribe 400 mg per day of pregabalin. Readjusting to that dose and never going over, however painful in the short-term, seems the best long-term solution.
