Should I accept further test?

Because of my health anxiety I analyse everything and google and get conflicting information.

I recently had an appointment with a breast consultant who examined me and is fairly confident everything is okay but is sending me for another mammogram (my third one).

Should I have this done or refuse as I'm worried about the xray radiation?

I'd rather not have it done as he said he couldn't feel a lump or see anything of concern, what would you do?

ask him if he thinks you do actually need the mammogram, talk to him about your concerns but the x-ray radiation is also nothing to worry about, as it is just a small amount each time.

Thanks, I did and he said they do it in case they miss something. I told him about my concerns and he told me not to worry about the test.

I asked for an ultrasound instead but he said it doesn't pick up everything.
