Not sure if thyroid

So I have this lump on my neck that has freaked me out so much it's under my skin and I'm not sure if it gets bigger or smaller sometimes I constantly feel it and I'm so scared to get it check out I have a cold right now but it was there before hand I had 3 cyst and I'm not sure if that's what it could be so when my cold started (my right tonsil is swollen) I had pain under my jaw and something there swelled now it stated in the left side and but no swelling yet on the right side I'm not sure if there is a bump or else it is okay I'm afraid I just pushed the bump in and it's still there the right side doesn't hurt

Please help me I'm so scared of this
