A few years ago whilst working down in Africa I'd a major panic attack out of the blue, at the time I thought I was having a heart attack and that was it. After I'd gotten home I had some diagnostics done and it was put down to Malarone which I was taking as an anti Malaria preventative measure. The listed side effects of this drug are worrying indeed, had I known I'd not have bothered.
Anyway after a few weeks off the drug I was still having them, after a few trips to the docs and A&E and all sorts of tests, X rays and blood samples I'd had a Holter monitor fitted over 48hrs. All of which came back normal.
2 years on I still have these episodes about 2 times a week but ONLY at night when I am in bed. I do exercise and I don't suffer any episodes during, and never during the day only at night.
Im probably worrying over nothing, but any heads up would be appreciated.
