tense and tender feeling in front of the neck

i ve had this for a few months now just always feels like someones grabbing my throat and its tender more on the right side. obviously as you all know health anxiety makes us fear the worst, i went to the doctor a couple months ago when it started and he said he didnt feel any lumps just tension but i do still worry.
does anyone else get this
