dent like spot in neck

Please tell me I've completely lost it. If i strain my neck, like say forcing a smile and all of my neck muscles popping out, i notice a little dent like right above the top of my trachea, i guess it is. Does everyone have this? You cant see it if you hold your head normal and i dont have any probelms with swallowing other than well i take that back, fighting a viral infection/flu at the moment. I am thin built to begin with just want to make sure im okay and dont need to go running in a panic.

Everyone's muscles have different natural shapes, so some people may have what you describe, others may not. I do though.

It's nothing to worry about. Just spaces that aren't filled with muscle and connective tissue. Won't have anything to do with your flu.
