How long till you get results of Occult Stool test?

I had one on Tuesday, Wed and Thurs - it's now the weekend, but I"m assuming that they would see blood straight away.

My Dr hasn't rung me yet, I"m driving myself insane, does anyone know how long it takes to get results?

It was a take in poop sample in a container not the smear one on a card and send in.

I don't know how long it takes in USA but I took a sample in on Monday and still waiting for my results. If everything is okay they don't always tell you unless you call to ask. I say no news is good news.
