Thought id drop in to firstly say hi to all on here.

Well dunno where to start really but ill keep it brief in this introduction but i have suffered from anxiety since about the age of 22 up until the present day which i am now 33.

This is a long time to have suffered from this and my symptoms have been more the fear of actual symptoms like palpitation, tight chested etc over the years as countless others have and do on this forum.

Ill post more on my story in another forum and i thought i had almost got this problem nailed down coming into last year, that was until march time when i would get quite nasty missed/skipped heartbeats which where more pronounced than before.

Anyway been on and off beta blockers and now are on tablets to calm down stomach acid which i believe could cause these nasty episodes etc.

Would love to say more but this is supposed to be an intro from me so sorry for getting carried away but already it helps immensely typing about this problem as i am sure it does for many others on here.

Speak to you all soon.

Ash.

Wow thanks for the lovely replies and welcome thanks people. Im gonna post my more extended story which i will copy and paste to save time from another site i have posted on in the symptoms forum which seems appropriate for my problem at the minute.

Ironically enough i have only had the odd missed beat per day since last week since that rather horrid attack out the blue and maybe its because i know there's others on here and out there who 1.have this problem as well and most importantly of all 2.actually care because of this fact and it does not go in one ear and out the other like it does to most people you speak to about these problems who have never suffered from them.

Thanks again..:-)
