Hi everyone

Sorry to pester with yet another anxiety related concern but just lately I've noticed that rather than beating really fast, sometimes my heart seems to beat quite slow. Basically, my resting HR varies from around 60 bpm to 78 bpm - is this normal??

Many thanks once again for any advice!

Hi Jo

The resting hearbeat is around 70bpm.

Found this on google for you ..

So it looks normal to me.

Hi Jo

An average resting heart beat hon. It will feel slower and abnormal to you as with anxiety we all suffer the beating heart that we feel might explode at any moment, so having it back to a regular beat will make you worry that its too slow, will it stop etc.

Shows you have managed to calm it all down and are getting to grips with it.

Dont worry about it hon, it is perfectly normal and how you are feeling is so understandable after how you have felt.

45 - 90bpm for resting heartbeat is absolutely fine and normal and it should vary throughout the day .

It sounds very healthy to me .

Hi girls

Thanks so much for your reassurance. Don't know why, but I was having 'one of those' days! Feeling better today thankfully.

Lots of love Jo xxx

I remember when i used to be able to feel my heartbeat in my throat.. that was terrible but i guess the more you calm down the better it gets?
