Hi sorry to hear you are feeling a little down today, sending you a hug Hun.
Im take Citalopram too, in my experiences it can take 4 to 8 weeks before i start feeling the benefits of the drugs, I have been taking them for 10 years on and off.
I would give them a little more time and see how you feel then. Or maybe you could have a word with your GP to see if he can advice you.

Here are some links that may help Hun.

HI there. I had a similar thing with my seroxat. I was on it for about 5 weeks, then suddenly would get worse again, as my body got used to the low dose. I had it slowly increased now on 30mg, and (touch wood!) have been ok since then. I still have the feelings of anxiety, but can keep them under control. Keep in touch with your doc, they need to find the right dosage. Of course this could just be a one-off, a blip. We all have them so don't lose faith.
