View Full Version : How do you keep things in perspective?

if you're reading this, I'm sure you can relate to your mind jumping to worst case scenario everytime something "feels different" or when we get test results that aren't as good as we had hoped.

At the moment, I'm scared as my boyfriends blood tests came back with low platelet count and he has to go back later this month for another test to see if they're the same or dropped etc. A health anxiety sufferers mind like mine goes like this "low platelets =leukaemia, cancer, liver problems, he's going to die" and then panic attack. I find it INCREDIBLY hard to keep this in perspective.

How do you keep things in perspective? Do you have any tips that help? Has anything helped you?
