Really worried this morning, is it normal when flick our hair upwards from the sides we can see the scalp in between the gaps? Im really worried it could be Alopicia(Sorry for the spelling if its wrong) Or can everyone see parts of their scalp when the hair is brushed?
I'm Male 24.
Yes.
If you had alopecia I'm pretty sure you would've noticed big chunks of hair falling out.

yes perfectly normal
Yes normal. If you had got alopecia it would be a proper round bald patch

Welcome to the world of a hypochondriac!
I worried about this also... I was getting a haircut, and the barber mentioned that my hair was thin on the sides. That through me into a tailspin for a few days.
3 yrs later - looks the same
I just see scalp....
Positive thoughts
i just see a sea of grey :D
Yes, sounds normal.
Alopecia would show itself as distinct bald patches in your hair.
I have had a patch in my hair since childhood, on the right side of my hairline. Never grows any hair on it, just one of those freaky things.
(Mind you, nothing about me is very normal, lol :wacko::wacko:)
I wouldn't worry.

It could be a natural thinning of hair. Some chaps do notice their hair thinning even in their 20's, as happened to my oldest son who hated it and wore a cap until his mid-30's when his thinning hair sort of caught up with his age so to speak.
