I thought I would mention this in case it can help someone else....
I know anxiety can be the cause of tension headaches. I seem to get them while pregnant too which is probably due to hormones. I am an overall healthy person (other than what my HA tells me:wacko:) and don't ever drink soft drinks BUT found a great cure for tension headaches that has worked for me EVERY time. I take a Tylenol and more importantly, drink ONE regular sized glass of coke. Within a short while the headache is gone and stays away-wonderful! When taking Tylenol doesn't work having a glass awhile later always does the trick.
I am not suggesting you drink coke regularly as caffeine and sugar aren't things you want to ingest often when suffering from anxiety....but the odd time can really help.
