I microwaved a baked potato and took a spoonful which was VERY hot, and without thinking I swallowed it. Well I felt it slowly slide all the way down my esophagus and it burnt all the way down.
Now my esophagus/chest has an achey painful feeling. I'm sucking ice cubes and took some zantac to stop any acid. It still really hurts though. That's what I get I suppose.
But it's very uncomfortable. Should I see a doctor?
I'm also worried because I heard internal burns are more likely to cause shock :/
