Don't know why, and I know it sounds abit silly but I feel really nervous/anxious about going back to work tomorrow after the holidays, I don't think i'll get any sleep tonight and it will make me anxiety ridden tomorrow. Am I just being daft?

No you are not daft.

I never sleep well on Sunday's as I have to go back to work the next day - I hate it!!!

Good luck for tomorrow. You will be fine once you get there.

No youre not being daft...I'm the same every weekend...my monday feeling starts on saturday night and its much worse after a holiday. Just try and remember the anticipation is usually much worse than the reality and try and have a relaxing night...thats what I tell myself at least. I'll be thinking about you.

Good luck

Hi DJ

Like the others say, im sure you will be fine when you get there, im always the same when i start a new week at work, but at the end of the day i am glad i went. Once you get there im sure your mind will be that occupied with work you wont have time to worry.

Let us know how things go hun:D

Hugs to you and sending you good vibes!

hi there,
you are not being daft, i think that most people, even those who don't 'panic', get this all the time. it's that 'going back to school' feeling - horrible!
i always try to have as relaxing a sunday evening as possible - nice dinner, long bath, read a bit before bed, herbal tea... just to try and take my mind off how much i'm dreading going to work the next day.
Sending you lots of relaxing vibes!

Off course today was fine. Don't know why I was worried, however the day did drag, slowest day ever infact

I've been feeling anxious primarily because of work so it was nice to know I wasn't going crazy and that others sometimes feel the same. I've been having disturbed sleep for the last few weeks, find myself dreaming about work, or just waking up anxious and thinking about work. Usually just doing work helps but sometimes that causes me more anxiety.

Have any of you experienced anxiety for fear of getting fired? I'm having that feeling and just can't fight it and the thing is there's nothing out there thats saying that I'm going to be fired? How did you cope? Any advice on how to cope would be appreciated.

I actually feel a little better just by posting this. This website is so helpful!
