A Strange Dizziness

Can anyone relate ?

Its like falling backwards down a lift shaft.Almost like vertigo but without the spinning.

I turned in bed few weeks ago and woosh. It only happens when laying down and turning too quickly. Im wondering about Sinus as yesterday I was rubbing my head as it felt like sinus pressure top of head I suddenly went into the dizzy again, repositioned my head and it stopped.

Had this before couple times and Gp said anxiety..How ?? Its a very real sensation..

Sounds like bbpv,benign positional vertigo,mum had it n had a head maneuvre done and it cured it x

Thanks for replies. Saw a Chiro 5 years ago when first happened and a Physio which helped more . Just wondered if anyone else had this after a lengthy period of stress/anxiety started it off ?

Have to say I do also get this kinda sensation when ive been overly stressed or an overly tired x
