Flu like symptoms!

I have had ongoing flu like symptoms for the past 3 weeks feeling a little better now.My glands are still up all over my body but think that is normal.. just had a worry that it could be related to hiv even though i have not long had a rapid hiv test done well after 3 months of exposure and it came back negative. Is this just typical seasonal flu? i know deep down it cant be anything to do with hiv as my result was negative, just my anxiety playing up, what do you guys and girls think? thankyou Tom

Flu can drag on. Drink plenty of fluids, keep warm, get rest and you'll be fine.

You've had a HIV test and you don't have HIV. Sometimes after we've spent so long worrying about something your thought processes are stuck in a cycle. When you get symptoms and start worrying, just tell yourself "oh yeah, I don't have that". Feel the relief, do it a few times, and that should break the cycle. In my experience anyway. :)
