Hi everyone, i am new here so be gentle lol..
A friend suggested this site to me after a heart to heart chat we had some time ago telling him about my fears & problems. After much thought and deliberation i finally overcome my fears / gained the strength / got brave / took his advice and registered a profile so here i am.
My names Garry from Hertfordshire, i am single (never married) very lonely & quite shy. I haven't always been the shy type, this only began for me about 2/3 years ago, after going through 2 major traumas. Firstly i lost a parent and a month after that my relationship of 3 years ended when someone informed me that she had cheated several times. These two things absolutely devastated me resulting in mild depression and the start of random panic attacks. My family and friends helped me through this and now things are much better for me. I have missed being in Female company & dating, with all that going on the time wasn't right. Over the past few months i have regained some confidence & feel positive about life again. Time for me to move onto the next stage of getting back to my old self by going out socialising / having fun again & meeting (maybe dating) a nice Woman. Nothing to serious initially - friendship / chats / dates etc & see how things go from there.
