Can't think rationally!

I just got hit in the throat! My kids wanted a family hug and my husband's head hit my throat. It hurt and also hurt in my ears when it happened. I can't stop freaking out thinking my throat will swell closed or I will bleed where I can't see. It wasn't that hard of a hit, and I googled when I shouldn't have. I swear my throat feels a little tight, but it's probably in my mind.

can you breathe ok? are you filling your lungs properly? are you wheezing at all?
you might well have suffered some injury and you have to decide as to whether or not you'll need medical attention.
try and keep calm and have a long drink of water. try to relax and wait it out.

if there was any damage then would be apparent sooner rather than later.

Thank you for your kind reply. I can breathe well, and can swallow water ok. It's when I'm not breathing or swallowing that it feels swollen. I will wait and am feeling somewhat calm. Thanks and merry Christmas!
