Disconnected from loved ones. Please help.

I feel so disconnected especially from my family. With my friends I don't really feel that way but when I think of each member of my family I feel like I don't even know them even though they love me a lot and love them so much as well. It's so weird and it scares me sometimes when i look at them and don't feel like I know them. I feel distant from them even though I know I love them I feel like I don't have emotion towards them. Is this a part of derealization or is this something else? Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

Yes, it's quite common, don't worry, it will go away. You're not crazy! I do think it's a bit of derealization or depersonalization, maybe caused by the extra strain of the holiday season, or a change in routine. There's a whole section on here about it, I'm sure you'll get some tips there. It WILL pass, hang in there!
