Alcohol and Anxiety

I was planning on having a little drink tonight with some friends but i have never been drunk before (i'm a 21 year old male) how will the alcohol affect my anxiety?

Unfortunately alcohol can affect your anxiety. I think it depends on how bad it is at the time and what state of mind your in
When i drink anxiety is the last thing on my mind but if your feeling low and rubbish in the morning of course it can creep up
For me sometimes it doesn't really make it any worse and other times it can make it sky rocket.
I guess it's one of those things where it's down to experience but i wouldn't get 'smashed' or anything. Just go careful

Also make sure you drink plenty of water before you go to sleep : )
