Is it just me or does things like New Year's Eve make my anxiety sky high??? Like it's making me feel all nervous and sort of panicky I guess... I've got plans to go to a house party with friends tonight and I'm just so anxious that I feel like I don want to go 🙈

You should go because believe you me I wish I had the opportunity to go to a house party instead of being stuck at home. Get yourself ready have a few drinks to calm the nerves whilst you get ready, listen to your favourite music then before you walk into the party take a few deep breaths and put your best smile on :) trust me you will not be the only person who is nervous about going

I to feel you should go too but drinking and anxiety don't mix! The repercussions after the fact are far worse than dealing with the anxiety beforehand.

Bottom line is do what you're comfortable with. The reality is, it's just another day and one that many use as an excuse to get stupid.

Positive thoughts

Well then, it's just a personal choice then. This is one of those times where you should bite the bullet, kick the dragon in the arse and go if even for a short time. Stick around to scream "Happy New Year"... The build up and what you're putting yourself through is far worse than the the reality of going.

I can't tell you how many times I didn't feel like going out but was glad I did after the fact.

Either way, Happy New Year and positive thoughts!
