hot tea went down the wrong way...worried I might have damaged my lungs?

I choked while drinking tea and hurt my windpipe. It wasn't boiling hot but it was very hot, like just freshly boiled with a bit of room temp milk in it. I immediately coughed it up but now I'm worried I might have damaged my airway or something. My voice has gone hoarse. I can't seem to find any information about such accidents. Should I ring NHS 24?

You're fine. If any of the liquid had got into your lungs believe me you would know about it and wouldn't be posting on a forum.
