In Germany they have a medication called Lasea that has high doses of a specific chemical in lavender oil that apparently works wonders for fighting anxiety and helping sleep. Of course we don't have this in America because then the pharmaceuticals would stop making money from benzodiazepines and anti depressants :lac:

We do have a similar otc drug called CalmAid though which is similar in the sense that it also uses lavender to fight anxiety. I'm just wondering if anyone has used these kinds of medications and were there any side effects? I've heard they target the same neurotransmitters as benzodiazepines but apparently it isn't addicting at all.

The German product Lasea and the American product CalmAid are both the same thing. They both contain 80mg of Silexan and if you purchase a box of CalmAid you will notice that it is a product of Germany.

I've been using CalmAid for a little over a week and I have noticed a decrease in my anxiety level and I have been sleeping better.
