What is wrong with me, surely Ishould be improving, been taking meds 3 weeks now, need some advice, ccan'tshake that iI have BC xxxxx

If your on about the worrie with health anxiety it's a tough one I have health anxiety and have med and still it does not work... It all depends on how you are reacting to the thoights and/or the symptoms .

For me if I wheeze and feel I can't breath that must mean I have astmha or a lung condition

I would also say it takes time when on meds it's trial and error

Herbie, you need to try and trust your Dr.

That is the first step in trying to get a proper handle on your health anxiety.

You've been checked and the Dr hasn't found anything suspicious.

If you could get a test that allows you 1000% certainty, what would it be?

Depending on the medication you are on, it can take more than 3 weeks to notice an improvement. Most SSRI medications take 6-8 weeks before someone will start to notice that they are feeling better. Keep in mind that these medications sometimes work slowly and gradually, and just because you cannot notice the changes straight away, doesn't mean that things aren't improving.
